Resident Artist
The resident artist at Spires Art is Lorraine Fletcher. Lorraine has wanted to work as an artist from an early age. She studied Combined Studies in Fine Art & Design at the University of Ulster Belfast, from which she graduated in 2002.
She intially worked in the design field but when then turned her focus to painting. Lorraine creates images which more recently have focused on the female form, in particular the face. her distinctive paintings are chareristic by a love of colour and strong compostion influenced by artist such as Fabian Perez.
