Spires Glass

Kiln formed glass can create endless opportunities in design. The nature of the kiln firing process means each piece has it’s own unique quality and individuality. Fused glass is a term used to describe glass that has been fired (heat-processed) in a kiln at a range of high temperatures up 830 deg C.

Laminated glass is the process of bonding two or more pieces of glass together with a specialized adhesive, using specific timed heat settings and air pressure. A variety of insertions can be placed between the glass panels to create a sensational piece of artwork.

Stained Glass Art is an alternative to traditional stained glass, using high specification, colour stable polyester film with built in UV inhibitors, bevelled glass and a natural finish pure lead strip.

All these products are used to create decorative glass, ideal for a range of applications such as, windows, doors, kitchen units or splash backs, mirrors and room dividers ranging from small decorative glass to large commercial installations.

Our design team are constantly researching new ways to work with the products and take all artwork from initial design ideas to final manufacture and fitting. Continual experimentation means we are always creating new and unique things to offer our clients.

Delivery times will vary depending in the scale of the project, so it is essential to have an initial consultation to plan ahead. As with all our designs we will try our best to produce your artwork as quickly and efficiently as possible, while also taking into consideration the safety of working with glass for public areas and the time it takes to meet these requirements.
